ELIM CHURCH CENTRE, HASTING WHO’S WHO – THE LEADERSHIP TEAM
Pastor Gwilym Hughes
Hi my name is Gwilym, I am married to Beth and we have two children, Ffion and Cerys. I come from Cardiff, where I was brought up in a Christian home. After three years in Bible College, I spent some time at Teen Challenge, a Christian Centre working with teenagers who struggle with drug and alcohol addiction. During my twenty plus years as a Pastor within Elim, I have had the privilege of pastoring a city centre church in Liverpool and establishing a church plant near the Brecon Beacons in Wales. As Pastor of the Elim Church in Hastings it has been great to see God’s blessing on the church.  Brian Maylam has been a member of Elim Church for over 60 years and an Elder here in Hastings for over 10 years. Married to Grace, who plays keyboard in the church, they have a son Darren 
Scott Brunton has been an elder at Elim for getting on for 10 years. He feels it’s important to mention that although having the title elder he is by far the youngest of the bunch. Married to Lorraine they have one daughter, Miriam. Scott is also our Child Protection Co-ordinator
Geoff Milnes is an Elder of long standing, and is a key supporter of up the prayer ministry within the church. He also leads a regular Bible Study Group.
Jenny Toft has recently joined the Eldership. She is also a home group leader, leading a group in nearby Fallowfields. Jenny is married to Geoff, and has three sons Carl, Grant Zandra Pavey has also recently joined the eldership team. She is married to Nigel and they have two daughters Emmy and Mia.
